Double Miles for Paying Taxes

Double Miles for Paying Taxes

The deadline for paying taxes is just around the corner and the Chase United Mileage Plus Visa has an offer that could make handing over any money you owe to Uncle Sam slightly more palatable. When you charge your tax payments to a Chase United Visa between March 14 and May 31, 2009, you’ll earn double miles on the charge, up to 15,000 bonus miles. You can use your Mileage Plus credit card to pay the full or partial payment of federal and state income tax, local property and real estate taxes, penalty fees and more.

There is a “convenience fee” of 2.49 percent for paying taxes with a credit card. For example, if you pay $5,000 with your card, you’ll be charged $124.50 and earn 10,000 miles. With the bonus offer, you’ll essentially be paying a bit more than $0.01 per mile. Go to http://insideflyerus.wpengine.com/link/?1436 for more information.
