In addition to the miles you’ll earn for purchases, Northwest WorldPerks is offering 600 bonus miles for every $200 spent at participating retailers between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31, 2007. There is no limit to the number of bonus miles you can earn, but you must register before shopping to qualify for the bonus. Miles are earned on the purchase price of items and taxes and shipping charges are not included. Purchases of merchant gift certificates are not included, except for giftcertificates.com and Home Depot purchases. American is offering double miles with each AAdvantage eShopping purchase you make with a MasterCard from 25 select retailers, plus threshold bonuses up to 4,000 bonus miles, depending on the total amount you spend from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2007. Spend a total $250 or more before tax and shipping by Dec. 31 to earn 500 bonus miles; spend $251-500 to earn 1,000 extra miles for a total 1,500 miles; and if you spend more than $1,000 you will earn 2,500 extra bonus miles for a total 4,000 mile bonus. Merchants include Bose, Circuit City, Macy’s, Eddie Bauer, eToys, The Sharper Image and more. You do not have to register for the bonus, but you must purchase the items with a MasterCard to get the bonus miles.

Marriott Rewards members can earn double points for each qualifying transaction at the Marrriott Rewards Mall with select merchants. DisneyShopping, Lands’ End, Nordstrom and Target purchases will earn eight points per dollar; Overstock, six points; JC Penney and Staples, four points; and Apple Store, Circuit City and Dell Home will earn two points per dollar spent. You do not need to register for the promotion and shipping, taxes and any special handling fees do not qualify to earn points.

Until Dec. 31, 2007, Continental OnePass members can earn 20 miles per dollar spent at FTD, 10 miles per dollar spent plus 500 bonus miles at Teleflora and 10 miles per dollar spent at SkyMall.

Amtrak Guest Rewards members can earn double miles on purchases made through Jan. 11, 2008 at Amtrak’s Points for Shopping online mall. The double mile promotion includes 13 participating retailers including Starbucks, Target and Best Buy.
