United Mileage Plus members who convert hotel points into Mileage Plus miles through Nov. 30, 2007, can earn up to 5,000 bonus miles. Transfer the amount of hotel points equivalent to 10,000-19,999 miles and you’ll earn 2,500 bonus miles. Or transfer the amount of hotel points equivalent to 20,000 miles or more and you’ll earn 5,000 bonus miles. Exchange rates vary by hotel program and some conversions are based on thresholds. Members can exchange points from Marriott Rewards, Hilton HHonors, Hyatt Gold Passport, Priority Club Rewards, goldpoints plus, Choice Privileges and TripRewards. Members of Hyatt Gold Passport can earn an additional 5,000 bonus miles for a total 10,000 bonus miles when converting 50,000 or more Gold Passport points; converting 25,000 points will get you 10,000 miles — this is slightly different from the others because Gold Passport members always receive a 5,000-mile bonus when converting 50,000 Gold Passport points. You must convert at least the equivalent of 10,000 Mileage Plus miles to earn the bonus miles.
