Lufthansa has added two new types of awards to its schedule: One-way and Children’s awards.

One-way awards run about 75 percent of a regular award. They’re available only on flights operated by Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS. One-way awards can not be booked online.

In addition, children aged 2 to 11 can now fly for only 75 percent of the miles normally required for the flight award. Like One-way awards, Children’s awards may not be booked online, and can only be redeemed for flights on Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS.
