What’s a digEplayer?
A digEplayer is a convenient handheld device which uses video-on-demand technology to deliver a spectrum of in-flight entertainment choices. In layman’s terms, that means you can watch movies ‘n’ stuff on it.
Why do you care?
Because it’s available to rent on Alaska Airlines flights between Seattle and Anchorage, Fairbanks, Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago (O’Hare), Boston, Newark, Washington, Orlando, or Miami; Chicago and Anchorage; or Los Angeles and Washington or Cancun.
Get your pick of over nine movies, 10 categories of music — ranging from classical to country — or view television shows, destination information, airport maps, and more.
When traveling between any of the cities listed above (except between Anchorage and Seattle), you can reserve a digEplayer at least 24 hours in advance for $10. Registration is required. Be sure to print out your receipt and bring it with you on your flight.
DigEplayers can also be rented onboard the day of your flight, but with limited availability, it is best to reserve online at http://www.alaskaair.com (DigEplayers are complimentary for all first-class passengers flying the above routes).
