As reported in September, Alaska and Delta have joined a codesharing and frequent flyer reciprocity partnership. Recently, that relationship expanded into lounge access.

Delta Crown Room Club members and two guests now have access to Alaska Airlines Board Rooms, when at least one segment is flown on an Alaska flight on the same day of travel.

Likewise, Alaska Board Room members and two guests can now have access to Delta Crown Room Clubs in Atlanta, Cincinnati and Salt Lake City when at least one segment is flown on a Delta flight on the same day of travel.

To mark the partnership, SkyMiles members will receive double miles when they travel on any Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air-operated flights, and Mileage Plan members will earn the same double miles on all Delta and Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air-operated flights before Dec. 15. In order to earn the double miles, members must enroll prior to their first qualifying flight by registering online.
