American Express Executive Business cardholders can now earn one annual complimentary companion-ticket certificate good for travel on major U.S. carriers when using the card to purchase a domestic economy-class ticket.

Cardholders will now also receive all the benefits that come with membership in the Starwood Preferred Business program, with the minimum-stay requirement waived. Once enrolled in the Preferred Guest program, cardholders will receive upgrades to a preferred room at check-in, in addition to the two confirmable upgrades cardholders will receive annually. Cardholders also receive two awards for 50-percent off room rates and will earn Starpoints for their company.

The Executive Business card, which is designed to appeal to small-business owners, was already packed with perks like a complimentary membership in the Executive Car Club, which provides membership in Hertz #1 Club Gold and Emerald Club from National Car Rental without the normal minimum purchase requirements.
