Through Sept. 30, members who successfully apply for a Marriott Rewards Visa and make a purchase with the card will receive 15,000 bonus points, Silver Elite status and one free-night certificate valid through March 31, 2005, good for a stay at a category one, two, three or four hotel. In addition to all these goodies, cardholders will, as always, earn three points per dollar spent at Marriott locations and one point per dollar spent elsewhere. Visa is waiving the annual card fee for the first year.

Silver Elite members earn 20-percent more base points on all qualifying stays and enjoy late check out privilege, a 10-percent discount on weekend room rates and elite-only award opportunities.
