Wireless service deals may be becoming old hat, but when the world’s largest frequent travel program partners with one of the world’s largest telecommunication companies it demands notice.
AAdvantage members can now earn 5,000 bonus miles when they sign up for AT&T Wireless service — or up to 25,000 miles if they sign up for five lines of service. Not bad for a service that many would sign up for regardless.
"It’s no secret that AAdvantage members are more on the go than ever, yet they need to stay connected to both the home and office. This is why we have chosen to team up with AT&T Wireless to offer AAdvantage miles for wireless phone service," said Ed French, president of AAdvantage Marketing Programs. "We are thrilled to offer AAdvantage members one more way to earn award travel, without ever leaving the ground."
AAdvantage and AT&T are also offering a sweepstakes to celebrate the new partnership. Through Nov. 15, anyone who makes an international call using their AT&T wireless service will be entered for a chance to win one million AAdvantage miles. And if you don’t clinch the million, you might be able to claim one of five 100,000-mile prizes. You can also enter without making an international call. Just send a 3" x 5" card with your name, address, phone number and age to AT&T Wireless Million Miles Entry, P.O. Box 812210, Chicago, IL 60681-2210. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by Nov. 15 and received by Nov. 20. All other entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. (CT) on Nov. 15. Complete sweepstakes rules are available at http://www.attws.com/international.
