Through March 31, 2003, JAL Mileage Bank is reducing the cost of some of its economy-class to Executive- class upgrade awards for members residing in the United States.

The cost of an upgrade between North America and Japan has been lowered to 30,000 miles, and for a flight between North America and Korea an upgrade costs 35,000 miles. It is also 35,000 miles for an upgrade between North America and the following cities: Beijing, Dalian, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Manila, Shanghai, Taipei and Tianjin as well as Micronesia. For 40,000 miles, a member can attain an upgrade between Bangkok, Delhi, Denpasar, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Oceania and North America.

Various other cities are also included in the promotion. An upgrade on a flight from Mexico City to Vancouver only costs 20,000 miles and 25,000 miles will get you an upgrade when traveling from New York to Sao Paulo.
