A visit to the “What’s New” section of the credit card giant’s Membership Rewards Web site boasts that, for the first time, Membership Rewards enrollees are able to redeem points to purchase tickets to the U.S. Open Tennis Championships.

Um, folks, the tournament was held in late August. Surely you can come up with another new promotion by now.
