US Airways Award Changes
US Airways has announced a change to the Dividend Miles awards charts as of June 1, 2014. Currently there are three award levels: Low, Medium and High along with a few off-peak awards. Starting June 1, the High level will include High – Level 1 and High – Level 2. The changes to the award levels vary with some going up and more going down.

This change mirrors American AAdvantage changes including that the new Level 2 amounts are not published. A note on US Airways website reads, “High Level 2 awards are offered on a few select dates and require a higher number of miles to redeem.”

US Airways Dividend miles also changed the award redemption amount for business class oneworld awards to North Asia from 90,000 miles roundtrip to 110,000 miles roundtrip.
