Marriott has launched a new Xplor app and users who download the app and play the virtual travel game can win up to 200,000 points. The app is available for free at the App Store and players can visit five virtual major cities, chat with other players, answer trivia questions, solve puzzles and take sightseeing challenges. The cities you can currently explore are New York, Sao Paulo, Paris, Dubai and Beijing and additional cities may be added later. After downloading the app, register for the promotion at http://www.xplorthegame.com to be entered into the contest to win points. After completing an Xplor city by Nov. 15, 2013, contestants will be entered into a drawing to win 100,000 points. Complete the entire game by Dec. 23, 2013 for a chance to win one of three prizes: the grand prize of 200,000 Marriott Rewards points and a round-the-world airline ticket and two runner-up prizes of 150,000 points each.
