JetBlue has partnered with KULA Causes, Inc. to launch its True Giving program that allows members to donate points to any of the 2.5 million charitable organizations in the True Giving database. Members can make donations starting at 1,333 points for a $10 donation. You can search for causes by category, location, name or keywords. After Hurricane Sandy, KULA partnered with JetBlue Airways to offer an online giving website to aid the American Red Cross in its Hurricane Sandy efforts. JetBlue TrueBlue members could get six TrueBlue points for every dollar donated via the site and JetBlue offered a dollar-to-dollar donation match, up to $100,000. Within just hours of going live via Facebook and Twitter, the website raised $100,000, and continued upwards to more than $820,000.
