United MileagePlus is reminding members that they can redeem their miles for awards such as hotel stays, car rentals, merchandise, magazines, Digital Media and other non-flight awards. To encourage members to redeem their miles for these types of awards, the program will offer one member each day a refund of the miles they spent on a single non-flight award that day, up to 50,000 miles.

The offer applies to all members who register and make a non-flight redemption through Nov. 25, 2012. There will be a daily drawing from all non-air redemptions made that day and one grand prize winner will be chosen from all eligible entries. The grand prize is 200,000 United MileagePlus miles.
