TSA’s PreCheck program that allows pre-screened passengers to speed through security checkpoints is expanding to 28 additional airports in 2012. The program began as an invitation-only program for American and Delta’s best customers but more airlines will be added this year, including Alaska, United and US Airways. The program is also open to members of Global Entry, which is free for AMEX Platinum and United Premier Platinum and higher elite members who will be reimbursed the $100 fee.
