Priority Club Earn Rates

Priority Club Earn Rates

Priority Club Rewards has changed the earning rate for stays at InterContinental hotels. Previously, members earned a fixed 2,000 points per stay, regardless of the cost of the stay. The policy has changed to reflect the amount paid per stay and members now earn 10 points per $1 spent at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean. For InterContinental stays at other locations worldwide, the earn rate will remain 2,000 points per stay.

Bottom line: In most cases, Priority Club members will be able to earn more points with the new policy, which matches the earn rate at other Priority Club hotel brands. For one-night stays at cheaper InterContinental hotels that average around $100 per night, you’ll only be able to earn half as many points. But longer stays and single nights at more expensive hotels that cost over $200 will accrue more points.
