Radisson is celebrating the launch of the new Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago by giving away 50,000 Gold Points to the first 50,000 Club Carlson members who register and then stay at a Radisson hotel through Dec. 30, 2011. To be eligible to receive the 50,000 point bonus, you must be one of the first 50,000 people to register at radissonbignightgiveaway.com. If you register after the first 50,000 registrations, you’ll receive 15,000 bonus Gold Points for your stay, which is still enough for a free night at a category 1 or category 2 hotel. The landing page for the promotion will indicate that members will earn 15,000 bonus points after their stay once the first 50,000 registrations have been completed.
The qualifying stay must be completed by Dec. 30, and the promotion is valid on existing reservations, as long as the rate earns Gold Points, which includes advance purchase, AAA, senior and package rates. You must select points as your earning preference to receive the bonus. All Club Carlson Concierge elite members are automatically registered for this promotion and will be eligible to earn 50,000 points after staying one night.
Bottom line: If you didn’t register when registration first became available on Nov. 10, you probably aren’t one of the first 50,000 registered members who are eligible to earn the bonus 50,000 points. But you’ll still earn enough points for a free night at a lower category hotel if you register and stay one night.
