Every quarter, American AAdvantage members who are Citi AAdvantage credit cardholders can redeem miles for discounted flight awards. The first quarter awards for 2011 are now available and are valid for roundtrip travel through March 31, 2011.

Eligible award flights must originate in the 48 contiguous United States and there are over 85 destinations available for fewer miles, including Vancouver, Canada; Santa Barbara, Calif.; Tulsa, Okla.; Savannah, Ga. and Newark, N.J.

Cardholders with the Citi Gold AAvantage card or Citi AAdvantage American Express card can redeem 20,000 miles for a reduced mileage award in coach or 45,000 miles in first or business class. For Citi Select cardholders, the cost is 17,500 miles in coach and 42,500 miles in first or business class.
