Wyndham Rewards has recently introduced a new award option, Event Tickets, in which members can redeem points for tickets to concerts, sporting events, theater and other types of events. For example, a ticket to see Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre in New York is available starting at 61,798 points. In addition to events, Wyndham Rewards members can redeem points for hotel stays, gift cards, merchandise, dining, services, entertainment and more. With so many choices, what are the top awards? Not surprisingly, the number one award is free night stays. Members primarily participate in loyalty programs to earn free travel and Wyndham Rewards members are no exception. The second most popular awards are Home Depot gift cards, followed by gift cards from Target, Best Buy and Shell. Restaurant gift cards for Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Chili’s are also in the Top 10, along with Amazon.com and restaurant.com gift certificates.
