AmericInn's Easy Rewards

AmericInn's Easy Rewards

AmericInn has introduced Easy Rewards–a loyalty program that offers members cash for every 10 nights stayed and bills itself as the only national hotel loyalty program to do so. The new program replaces the former stamp-based INN-Pressive Club. Members will earn one point per room per night and will receive $40 cash or a $50 room voucher for every 10 points. “This is a straight-forward loyalty program with no hassles and no black-out dates,” said Mike Strong, director of marketing at AmericInn.

Some of the fine print includes: Only one person, age 18 or older with their name on the reservation, per stay, may receive points for a maximum of three rooms. If a point is not earned during the preceding 24 months, AmericInn may deactivate your account and forfeit your points. Missing points should be claimed within six months of the date of stay, along with supporting documentation. And the $50 room vouchers cannot be transferred to someone else.

Currently, only the two award options are available, cash or voucher, but other awards may be added to the program. Those members of the INN-Pressive Club who are currently holding partially or fully completed voucher cards are eligible to receive one Easy Rewards point for each of your unredeemed stamps by enrolling in Easy Rewards and completing the INN-Pressive Club/Easy Rewards Stamp Exchange form no later than March 15, 2011.

AmericInn is a mid-scale lodging chain with 250 locations currently open or under development in 22 states. The hotels offer complimentary hot breakfast including fresh hot waffles and high-speed Internet. For more information, visit http://www.AmericInn.com/Rewards

Bottom line: Room vouchers can only be redeemed for stays at participating hotels when you are paying the standard rate/AmericInn best rate for the room on AmericInn.com. Room vouchers cannot be used for discount room rates such as AAA, AARP/senior rate, so it pays to do a little math to ascertain if the discount you lose by using the award voucher is more or less than the $10 you gain by redeeming a voucher instead of cash.
