Midwest Miles is adding a transfer fee to convert Midwest Miles into partner program currency. Effective July 1, 2008, there is a $25 service fee on all mileage transfers from Midwest Miles to Hilton HHonors or Amtrak Guest Rewards. Five thousand Midwest miles will transfer to 10,000 Hilton HHonors points, up to 30,000 miles for 60,000 points. The transfer from Midwest miles to Amtrak points is on a one-to-one basis with 5,000 being the minimum and maximum eligible for transfer each calendar year.
