JetSet Update

ExpressJet JetSet members will notice that their point balance recently made a big jump up — it’s because the program has changed the way points are earned. In the past, members earned one point per segment flown; now members earn 10 points per segment. It continues to take 16 segments, or eight roundtrips, to earn a flight award, but the change was made to make it easier to earn and redeem points with existing and future JetSet partners.

As of June 1, you can take advantage of a new Redemption on Demand service that lets members view and manage their JetSet points online. Your travel awards will no longer be automatically issued — you will need to login to your account to choose your award.

And now, there are three award travel options offering more flexibility and some savings: 160 points will get you a roundtrip ticket; 120 points will get you a roundtrip ticket traveling on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday only or you can redeem 80 points for a one-way award.

To reward ExpressJet’s best customers, JetSet is launching the JetSet Privileges program on July 1, 2008. For members who fly four roundtrips between July 1 and Sept. 30, 2008, you will earn benefits that you can use between Oct. 1 and Dec. 1, 2008, such as double JetSet points for every flight, access to VIP offers, JetSet Bux and more. The offers refresh every quarter in this ongoing program. And if you are one of the best customers for the calendar year, you will receive special recognition just like the 25 JetSet members who were honored recently as the top flyers for the program’s first year. They all received gifts of travel and more.
