New Way to Earn Mileage Plan Miles

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members can now earn miles when they purchase wireless services and products from a range of wireless providers including AT&T, Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless. You will earn 5,000 bonus miles for purchasing or renewing a service contract and 10 miles per dollar spent on wireless accessories, such as Bluetooth headsets and car chargers, and another 5,000 bonus miles when you subscribe to a satellite television service. The program, a collaboration between Alaska, inPhonic, Inc. and mForce Communications, Inc., is available for members who live in the lower 48 and Hawaii. Members in Alaska can earn miles from GCI when they purchase cable television, Internet or phone service.

You can now go from rain or snow to sunshine and get some Mileage Plan miles anytime the mood strikes. Alaska Airlines now has year-round nonstop service from Seattle to Lihue on the island Kauai, Hawaii, and nonstop service between Anchorage and Honolulu begins Dec. 9, 2007.
