Under the new “SkyMiles Home Run Program”, Delta Air Lines pledged to donate 25,000 miles to Atlanta’s Dream House for Medically Fragile Children for each homerun hit by Jeff Francouer. As of this writing, Francoeur has hit 10 homeruns, and SkyMiles has donated 250,000 miles, the equivalent of 10 roundtrip tickets.

Founded in 2001, the Dream House for Medically Fragile Children seeks to develop and increase opportunities for medically fragile children to live in stable, permanent home environments. The organization provides resources and support to help families and communities prepare for children with special medical needs.

“Delta’s SkyMiles Home Run program will greatly benefit our families and caregivers, enabling the children to fly to special medical testing centers and hospitals across the country,” said Laura O. Moore, Founder and CEO of Dream House for Medically Fragile Children. “These very important SkyMiles will also help our advocacy efforts by allowing us to meet with others across the country, addressing issues on a national level that will impact the health and quality of life for all medically fragile children.”
