American Airlines has opened a new 13,300 square foot Admirals Club lounge at Narita. The new club is larger than the previous lounge and close to America’s ticket counters and gates and the first lounge as you come outside of customs. It features more than 100 Ethernet ports as well as powerports throughout, allowing free fast Internet and wireless access. Passengers can also print documents sent from their hotel rooms or elsewhere in the terminal to be picked up in the Admirals Club. There are two multi-functional business centers in the lounge as well as personal computers, a cyber cafe, a conference room and seven private work areas. The lounge also features five private shower suites, a quiet zone with comfortable chairs and a self-service bar and food area. Admirals Club memberships can be purchased with cash or miles with discounts offered to elite-level AAdvantage members. Or, you can purchase a one-day Admiral pass for yourself for $50, for you and one guest for $75 and for you and two guests for $100 — you and your guests must hold a same-day ticket for airline travel that allows clearance through security.
