Alliance Data Systems’ Loyalty and Marketing Services arm, which operates the Canadian Air Miles Rewards loyalty program, has signed a long-term contract renewal with Amex Bank of Canada (one of the top five Air Miles sponsors) to continue to offer Canadians its American Express Air Miles credit card.

“The partnership we have with the Air Miles Reward program has been instrumental in growing our cardmember base in Canada,” noted Beth Horowitz, president and CEO for Amex Bank of Canada. The Air Miles Reward program is used by 70 percent of Canadian households (15.4 million people), who actively collect the reward miles through a network of more than 14,000 retail and service locations country-wide.
