America West recently announced the details of an executive reorganization, including the promotion of Travis Christ to vice president, marketing. He will replace Ken Feldman, who has announced plans to leave America West.
Christ, 34, joined America West in 1997 as manager, route planning and scheduling. He currently serves as president, America West Vacations, and has also held the positions of senior director, national sales and director, capacity planning. In his new position, Christ will report to executive vice president, sales and marketing Scott Kirby, and will oversee the airline’s advertising, business development, FlightFund and partner marketing initiatives. He also will continue to oversee America West Vacations.
Ken Feldman has been a longtime supporter of this magazine, and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
At the same time, we welcome Travis, and trust he will continue to add strength to a genuinely valuable frequent flyer program.
