US Bank and MarquisJet have launched a new loyalty program for high-end passengers on privately chartered jets.
“Stratus Rewards,” an invitation-only program, gives members the opportunity to earn points for private travel when using the Stratus Rewards Visa card. Benefits include point pooling, concierge services, travel guides, membership in Marco Polo Club, membership in Sony’s Cierge, advice from celebrity lifestyle experts, discounted flights and more.
Membership is available only through an affiliation with one of the luxury partners or through nomination by another member. Annual membership dues are $1,500 for the primary cardholder and $500 for secondary cardholders.
Seems like a pretty expensive credit card. If you want our advice, pass this by and head directly to the Delta Air Liners AirElite private jet program. Similar service and similar prices, but you automatically receive Delta Medallion status, which at the end of the day is possibly more valuable than the “advice from celebrity lifestyle experts.” If you’re flying “private” you really should have your lifestyle figured out by now. Besides, the only celebrity lifestyle expert we know, Paris Hilton (we think she has an HHonors in her name somewhere), is out traveling in an Airstream trailer.
