American Airlines in conjunction with Starwood Hotels has brought back the rate plan where you can earn 1,000 bonus American Airlines AAdvantage miles at Starwood Hotels.
For every two nights or more you stay at participating Starwood hotels in North and Latin America through December 31, 2016 you’ll earn 1,000 AAdvantage miles per stay.

No registration is required since it is a rate plan rather than an actual promotion. There is no list of participating properties, but when you do a search it will return all those in there. Make sure you have your AAdvantage number entered in your SPG profile for the miles to credit properly.
The bonus AAdvantage miles are earned in addition to any Starpoints you’d normally earn for a Starwood stay, which is the best part.
Note that this offer does not stack with any other promotions. If you are planning to have several stays this summer keep in mind that SPG’s Triple Up promotion runs from May 9, 2016 through July 31, 2016 while this AAdvantage 1,000 bonus miles offer goes through December 31, 2016.
