Through Nov. 12, 2014, Amtrak Guest Rewards members can earn double points on Amtrak travel throughout the network.

You must first register for the promotion HERE and include your membership number when making reservations.

There is a limit of two qualifying one-way segments per day to earn the double miles.

INSIDE|Point: Normally members earn two points per dollar spent on Amtrak travel purchases, so during the Double Days promotion members will earn four points per dollar spent. The promotion also applies to Acela business class (earn 1,000 points instead of the normal flat 500 points) and first class (earn 1,500 points instead of the normal 750 points).
