Milepoint Kiva Lending Team
The Milepoint Kiva Lending Team recently passed the $7 million mark in funding microfinance loans to poor and underserved populations through Kiva.org. The Milepoint team has ranked third overall of all of the lending teams on Kiva for the past few years. In first place is the Atheists, Agnostics, Skeptics, Freethinkers team, formed in August 2008, with over 28,500 members who have loaned over $14 million, then the Kiva Christians team with over 13,000 members who have loaned more than $10 million since August 2008; and then, the Milepoint team with only 2,271 members, who passed the $7 million mark this year. The Milepoint team was formed in February 2011.
