Effective May 1, 2014, Malaysia Airlines will no longer be a Delta SkyMiles partner and SkyMiles members will not be able to book new award travel reservations on Malaysia Airlines. Malaysia Airlines joined the oneworld alliance in 2013. Malaysia Airlines flies to more than 60 destinations across Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.

Bottom line: If you’ve had your eye on booking an award flight on Malaysia Airlines with your Delta miles, book the award immediately.
