The Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature card has a $75 annual fee. There is also a Club Carlson Business Rewards Visa for a $60 annual fee and similar benefits.
The program also offers the Club Carlson Rewards Visa Signature card that has a $50 annual fee and comes with fewer points. This card offers six points per $1 spent at Carlson Rezidor and three points per $1 spent everywhere else. The sign-up bonus is 50,000 bonus points with first purchase plus 10,000 points when you spend $1,500 within the first 90 days and an annual renewal bonus of 25,000 bonus points. Bottom line: One of the most valuable benefits of this card for Club Carlson members is the free night on award redemptions of two consecutive nights or longer. If you redeem for a two-night stay, you will basically get two nights for the price of one. Members who frequently redeem for shorter stays can make their points stretch farther with this benefit. Cardholders also receive 40,000 bonus points each year they renew the card, which compensates for the $75 annual fee. With 40,000 points, members can receive one night at a Category 4 (38,000 points) or lower hotel. Even if you don’t use this card for regular spending, the complimentary elite status, bonus points and free award night on multi-day stays are valuable benefits for Club Carlson members.
