Virgin America’s latest onboard offer is now in effect. Rows 5, 6 and 9 on the airline’s A319s and rows 5, 6, 7 and 9 on the A320s–the best seats in coach–are now available for free at the time of booking for Elevate Gold and Silver elite status members, irrespective of Main Cabin fare purchased. Any guests purchasing non-refundable Main Cabin fares can select Main Cabin Express seats free of charge at time of booking and non-elite members can access the seats at time of booking for a non-refundable $20 fee. Along with the preferred seat with additional legroom, access to the seats includes advance boarding privileges, complimentary food and drink and one free checked bag.

As an elite member flying alone, you can opt in for the seat upgrade when you book your flight online or through a travel agent or Virgin America call center up to two hours before departure. If you have flying companions, you’ll need to call the exclusive Silver or Gold reservations line.

If any premier Main Cabin seats are unassigned 24 hours before departure, they will be available free of charge.
