The W Hotel brand will be entering Central America for the first time when the new W Panama opens in early 2016. The W Panama will be Starwood’s ninth hotel in Panama and will be located in a mixed-use 50-floor building, the Evolution Tower, which will be built on Calle 50 in Panama’s financial district. The hotel will feature 203 guest rooms, two onsite restaurants, over 21,900 square feet of meeting and event space, a fitness facility, nightclub, pool and spa. Starwood hasn’t published which category the W Panama will fall into, but W Hotels are found in categories 4 through 7 so expect to pay between 10,000 points and 35,000 points for a one-night stay.

W Singapore — Sentosa Cove is now open and is the W brand’s 43rd hotel worldwide and the seventh W hotel in Asia Pacific. This new hotel features 240 guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, a bar, the W Lounge experience, Away Spa and more.
