Starwood Preferred Guest has a new promotion where members can earn up to triple points on hotel stays this fall. Register for the Better by the Night promotion by Nov. 30, 2012 at http://www.spgpromos.com/betterbythenight and receive double points on stays of one or two nights from Oct. 1 through Dec. 20, 2012. Stay three or more consecutive nights and you’ll receive triple points. There is no limit to the number of points you can earn, and if you book via SPG.com or using the SPG app, you’ll receive bonus points. Book your stay at spg.com or via any Starwood hotel-branded website, including mobile web pages, and receive 250 bonus points. Earn 500 bonus points when you book through the SPG app for iPhone. Reservations made through the SPG app for Blackberry or the W Hotels app for iPhone will earn 250 bonus points.

Over 1,000 SPG hotels are participating in the promotion but quite a few hotels and resorts are excluded. Reservations made prior to the promotion are eligible to earn the bonus as long as the stay falls between Oct. 1 and Dec. 20, 2012. The double or triple points bonus applies to the base points only and does not include elite bonus points.
