Hotels for Heroes has officially launched. Run by the Fisher House, the same people who run the Hero Miles program, Hotels for Heroes offers free hotel rooms for wounded, injured or ill military (or Department of Defense civilian employees) and their families. So far, AmericInn, Best Western, Choice Hotels, Starwood and Wyndham hotels have partnered with the government-sponsored program.
