CLEAR is a subscription service that gives members access to fast-track security lanes at San Francisco (SFO), Orlando (MCO), Denver (DEN) and service at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) is coming soon. Starwood Preferred Guest Gold and Platinum members who sign up for a new membership with CLEAR before July 31, 2012 will receive six months of CLEAR membership for free. The offer is for new members only and SPG elite members who already have a CLEAR membership can email [email protected] to request a free one-year upgrade to a Family Plan, which will allow your spouse or partner to join your CLEAR account. Children under 18 can access the CLEAR lanes for free without enrolling in the Family Plan.

The offer email was sent to a select group of SPG elite members, but if you are a U.S.-based Gold or Platinum SPG elite member and did not receive the offer, you can contact SPG via chat, social media or email and request a code. When enrolling for the trial membership, you will need to enter your credit card information. You will not be charged for the first six months but you will be automatically charged $179 for a 12-month paid membership at the end of the six months. CLEAR will notify you 30 days before your card is charged so be sure to cancel if you don’t want to become a paying member.
