Hyatt Gold Passport members are being enticed to stay at Hyatt hotels by earning progressively more bonus points when staying through April 30, 2012. And if you’re a Hyatt Visa cardholder, you’ll earn an extra 25 percent bonus points.
The bonus kicks in after you stay four nights. When you stay four nights, you’ll earn 4,000 bonus points (plus 1,000 more points if you pay with your Hyatt Visa); at eight nights, you’ll earn an additional 8,000 points (plus 2,000 bonus points for Hyatt Visa cardholders); at 12 nights, you’ll earn an additional 12,000 points (plus 3,000 points for Hyatt Visa cardholders); at 16 nights, you’ll earn an additional 20,000 points (plus 5,000 points for Hyatt Visa cardholders). You must register for the promotion at http://www.goldpassport.com/possibilities by March 31.
Bottom line: If you max out at 16 nights (and notice–it’s nights not stays) and have a Hyatt Visa card, you’ll earn 55,000 bonus points, or if you don’t have a Hyatt Visa, you’ll earn 44,000 points, in addition to what you would normally earn. With 44,000 points, you can claim two free nights for a highest category 6 hotel for two nights (think Andaz 5th Avenue New York, The Churchill in London or the Park Hyatt Maldives).
