National is offering its annual One Two Free Emerald Club promotion where registered members can earn a free car rental after completing two qualifying rentals of two days or more through Jan. 31, 2012. Free days can be redeemed at participating U.S. locations any day of the week. New this year, Emerald Club will match a new customer’s status in any major car rental rewards program. For example, Avis Preferred First and Hertz #1 Club Gold Five Star members will be matched to Emerald Club Executive status. Avis President’s Club, Avis Chairman’s Club and Hertz #1 Club Gold President’s Circle will receive Emerald Club Executive Elite status.
