Next year, British Airways plans to start offering Executive Club members a course on air travel safety as a new award option.

For a price similar to that of a roundtrip award flight within Europe, Executive Club members will be able to enroll in a one-day course that educates passengers on airline safety from pre-boarding to what to do should the plane have a crash landing. Students of the course will be put through the paces as if it is a real emergency and will evacuate from a simulated aircraft down inflatable escape slides.

British Airways has offered the course over the last few years for their corporate clients who sometimes use it as a team-building experience and are planning to open it up as a new award option to all Executive Club members.
