In a recent post in Ric Garrido’s Loyalty Traveler blog, he found several instances where using Priority Club Rewards points as part of their Hotels Anywhere program was actually a better deal than using your Hilton HHonors points for the same Hilton hotel. For example when he checked, a stay at Hilton San Francisco Union Square was 50,000 Hilton HHonors points (category 7) while the same hotel for the same date was 46,000 Priority Club points.
Bottom line: Although it’s not always easy to do an exact program-to-program comparison, these numbers make it worth your while to check both programs before spending your HHonors points for a hotel stay. To see Garrido’s full analysis, visit http://insideflyerus.wpengine.com/link/?3132
