With Marriott Rewards PointSavers, members can save up to 33 percent on award stays, depending on the hotel category and number of nights requested. For example, a stay at the Courtyard San Diego Solana Beach/Del Mar can be booked for 20,000 points (instead of the usual 25,000 points required for a category 5 hotel). The 20 percent discount is only offered on weekend nights this fall, from Sept. 9 through Dec. 31. Another PointSavers property, Fairfield Inn & Suites Palm Beach, is available for 15,000 points. The property is a category 4 hotel and normally requires 20,000 points. PointSaver nights at this property can be booked at a 25 percent discount off regular rates from now through Dec. 18, 2010.
