Offered at only 5,000 points, PointBreaks hotels can disappear within hours of being announced, but there might be one or two locations that fit your travel plans.
The current list is valid for stays through June 30, 2010. In North America, you can book a stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites San Jose International Airport, the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Boston — Peabody or the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport. The InterContinental Dar Al Hijra Madinah in Saudi Arabia is only 5,000 points, as is the Holiday Inn Dar Es Salaam City Centre in Tanzania. European properties include the Holiday Inn Express Barcelona-Sant Cugat, Holiday Inn Express Lisbon Airport and in Asia, the Crowne Plaza Kathmandu-Soaltee in Nepal and the Holiday Inn Chiangmai in Thailand are listed as PointBreaks hotels this quarter.
Bottom line: Book PointBreaks hotel awards as early as possibly because they sell out quickly. Priority Club award nights normally range from 10,000 to 40,000 points, so you can save at least 50 and up to 87.5 percent with PointBreaks.
