Delta SkyMiles members with a Gold or Platinum Delta SkyMiles credit card from American Express can now access Delta Sky Club airport lounges for only $25 per visit. There are over 50 Delta Sky Club airport lounges worldwide and in addition to offering a comfortable place to wait before boarding your flight, Sky Clubs offer complimentary snacks and drinks, WiFi access, a variety of newspapers and magazines to peruse, personalized flight assistance and satellite TV.

Bottom line: With this new benefit, cardmembers can access the Delta Sky Club at 50 percent off the regular one-day pass of $50. While the discount is nice, keep in mind that Delta’s credit cards aren’t cheap. The Delta SkyMiles Gold AMEX has an annual fee of $95, which is waived for the first year. The SkyMiles Platinum card has an annual fee of $150 ($95 if you are a qualified American Express cardmember) that is not waived for the first year. There’s also the Delta Reserve Card from American Express that offers complimentary lounge access with an annual fee of $450. And none of these cards let you check your bags for free.
