Aeroplan members who earn or redeem with any three participating partners between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30, 2009 will receive 1,500 bonus miles. To earn the bonus miles, you must earn or redeem miles with three participating partners, including: Air Canada, Air Canada Vacations, Avis, Best Western International, Delta Hotels & Resorts, Expedia CruiseShipCenters, Fairmont Hotels, Hertz and National Car Rental. If you are using Air Canada as an earning partner, the fare must be eligible to earn miles. Qualifying redemption eligibility with all partners is based on the date you redeem miles and not the travel dates. Converting your hotel points into miles will not qualify as an earning or redeeming activity. Registration is required and the one-time bonus is in addition to the miles you would normally earn from completing partner activity.

Bottom line: This isn’t as lucrative as some of the other partner offers out there. Only a handful of partners are participating and converting points into miles doesn’t count. But if you have a trip planned and fly with Air Canada, stay at Best Western or Delta and rent a car with Hertz, National or Avis, you can earn an extra 1,500 miles.
