InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is teaming up with Crocus Group to build the world’s biggest Holiday Inn and Priority Club Rewards members will have to wait five years to redeem their points for stays. The hotel will be located in Moscow with construction starting in 2011 and expected to conclude in 2014. The hotel will feature 1,000 guest rooms, three restaurants and a 13,000 square foot health club in Crocus City, a retail and leisure complex in the Krasnogorsk area of Moscow. There are seven IHG branded hotels in Russia with a further 13 in the pipeline, making IHG the largest international hotel operator in Russia.
