There are many Web sites these days that you can use to perform flight searches, but newcomer Tripeedo.com has some features that makes searching for flights especially quick and easy. With most Web sites, users are required to fill out separate boxes with a departure city, destination, flights dates and other options. With Tripeedo, you only need to type in your departure and destination cities, fare class and your departure and return dates in the search bar, such as DEN to SFO first class June 25 to July 1, 2009, 2 (for two passengers). You can then select a metasearch of up to 20 travel and airline sites, including Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, American, United and Southwest (US Airways, however, is notably absent from the list of choices). Click “go!” and Tripeedo will then quickly display the Web sites you’ve chosen to search in separate windows–or if you prefer, click on the name of an individual Web site to see those search results on their own. If you aren’t yet ready to book a flight, Tripeedo will save your recent searches so you can relaunch them at a later date.
