Middle East Airlines is once again offering their popular half off award sale. Between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30, 2008, Middle East Airlines Cedar Miles members can claim awards for up to 50 percent off to many destinations worldwide. For example, between Beirut and London, Paris, Rome, Milan, Frankfurt or Geneva, the cost for coach is 17,500 miles (code CMBEX9) and the cost for Cedar Class is 35,000 miles (code CMBER9); 50 percent of the normal rates. Other destinations from or via Beirut available at slashed rates include the Middle East, the Gulf, Athens, Istanbul and West and Central Africa. The sale applies to roundtrip Milli-Miles awards for travel in November only and some restrictions apply.

Cedar Miles Elite and Prestige members can now earn 50 percent more Qmiles (miles you earn within one calendar year to maintain your Elite or Prestige Status) for flights between Oct. 16 and Nov. 30, 2008. It’s MEA’s way of helping their elite-level members maintain their status. The 50 percent bonus Qmiles are offered on all Middle East Airlines flights with a ME flight number.
